The 76th annual Virginia Highlands Festival is underway in Abingdon, and with over 200 individual events, the whole family will find something to enjoy. Attractions include the Antiques & Vintage Market, arts and crafts exhibitors, outdoor excursions and walking tours of historical landmarks. There will be sessions teaching about Appalachian food and history from experts, as well as a hot air balloon demonstration and music concerts for the whole family. The festival runs until Aug. 3.
